(English version below) Durante el  mes de junio, gracias al programa El documental del mes , quienes vivimos en diversos puntos de la geografía española tenemos la oportunidad de ver Hunting Corruption, que algun@s pudimos descubrir en el Festival Docs Barcelona la semana pasada. ¡No os lo perdáis! 3000 euros contra la transparencia Madrid 29 de octubre de 2012 – Access Info Europe tendrá que pagar 3.000 euros por preguntar cuáles son las medidas que España está implementando para luchar contra la corrupción. Según la sentencia del Tribunal Supremo que cierra el caso que comenzó en 2007, no tenemos derecho a solicitar esa información. El principal argumento del Tribunal Supremo es que la información solicitada por Access Info Europe sobre el cumplimiento de España con las obligaciones impuestas por la Convención de las Naciones Unidas contra la Corrupción es en realidad una forma de pedir explicaciones al gobierno y no una solicitud de información en sí. 3000 euros for a request about corruption Madrid 29 October 2012 – Access Info Europe has been ordered to pay €3000 to the Spanish government for asking what it is doing to fight against corruption according to a decision of the Spanish Supreme Court which has ruled that the NGO has not right to ask for such information. The decision closes a court case based on a information request submitted by an Access Info Europe board member in 2007. The main argument used by the Supreme Court is that the request by Access Info Europe to the Ministry of Justice for reports on the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption was in fact not an information request but that the NGO was seeking "explanations" from the government.
